It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jodie Clampitt of Hernando, Mississippi, who passed away on March 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice Clampitt of Hernando; his son Rodney Prince (Robin) of Hernando; his grandchildren, Joey Prince (Teresa) and Roxie Gunn (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Bobby Gunn, Trace Prince, Parker Gunn, Brylee Gunn, Taylor Harper and Bryce Gunn; his great great grandchild Tucker; his parents, Joda Clampitt and Mary Clampitt; and his siblings, Walter Thompson, Anderson Thompson, Myrtle Thompson Sanders, Annie Sue Thompson Prince, Vernice Clampitt Brown and Mary Clampitt.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his honor.
