He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Walston and Dorothy Faye Holland; his wife Vivian Walston; and his brothers, Steve, Terry and Jerry Walston.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Harper (Phillip), Karen Harper (Jonathan) and Tim Kirkman (Tina); and his siblings, Jeff Walston (Diane), Danny Walston (Valerie), Debra Downing (Paul), Sheila Pino (Bobby), Shirley Looney (Frank Yates) and Linda Mills (Bobby). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
