With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James H. Rutledge (Hernando, Mississippi), who passed away on May 24, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Clayton Rutledge and Jessie Nelson Rutledge; and his siblings, Clinton Rutledge, Lamar Rutledge, Gene Rutledge, Charles Rutledge, Haywood McElhaney, Polly McCormick and Catherine Cooper.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Pat" Rutledge; his sister Charlotte Clinard of Houston Tx; and his daughters, Mary Moore Darlene Rochelle (Willie) and Renee Lamb (Daniel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

Based on the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and recommendations pertaining to the COVID 19 pandemic, The family request anyone attending to please wear a mask and practice social distancing with family and friends.
