It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jake Davis of Hernando, Mississippi, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Ann Walters Davis; his sister Kathy Gardinier; and his nephew Michael Davis. He is survived by: his father Charles Quitman Davis; his children, Heather Hunter (Frank) of Hernando, Angela Scott of Hernando, Cinthya Paiva of Brazil and Niklas Mairose of Germany; his grandchildren, Kolton Scott, Gabby Hunter, Cooper Hunter, Avery Scott and Ryland Hunter; his brother Charles Davis (Sandy) of Tupelo; and his nieces, Michelle Getz and Katie Dunivan. He is also survived by his family as a wonderful father and grandfather.
