We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2023, at the age of 87, Gussie E. Cook of Hernando, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Pinkney and Maude E. Evans (Pierce); her husband Wayne Edward Cook; and her sisters, Jamie Dickerson of Lucedale, MS and Nell Kennedy of Moss Point, MS..
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth White (Scott) of Mobile, AL, Robin Burgin (Chris) of Mansfield, TX, Katie Laughlin (Jim) of Humboldt, TN and Kim Jones (Timmy) of Hernando, MS. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allies in Youth Development 1315 Hwy 1187 #115 Mansfield, TX 76063.
