It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flora Maxine Franklin James (Hernando, Mississippi), who passed away on August 14, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliff Franklin and Eura Ann Franklin; her granddaughter Amie Lynn Ewing; and her siblings, Jackie McCord, Sue Coleman and Donald Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Ewing (Donnie), Theresa Rikard (Phil) and Frankie James of Oxford; her brothers, Kenneth Franklin of Hernando, MS and Harold Franklin of Missouri; her grandchildren, Brad Ewing (Toni), Mandy James, Tanya Robertson (Eric), Sandi Reed (David) and Walt Rikard (Paula); her great grandchildren, Creek Robertson, Britt Robertson, John Colt Robertson, Carter Ewing, Sara Bradley Ewing, Cooper Ewing, Case Ewing, Amie Kate Reed and Lawson Reed; and also Sherry Chrestman of Oxford. She is also survived by children as a foster grandparent.
