He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary II and Charles Edgar Jenkins II. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his pet Chance; his son Brad; his daughter-in-law Jenne; his siblings, John, Mary Wright and Libby Carter; and his stepgrandchildren, Layne, Saylor, Isabel Wood, Harper Wood and Hadley Wood.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, Hernando, MS.
