He was predeceased by: his wife Lorene Kautz. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Gvist, George Kautz, Lorie Albillar (Robert), Kathryn Kautz and Ronald Kautz (Susan); and his brothers, Bill Kautz, Bob Kautz, Gerry Kautz and Allen Kautz. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty- two great grandchildren.
