We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024, at the age of 80, Sidney Harris of Hermanville, Mississippi passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sidney Harris to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Solomon, Malcolm and Dwight Harris. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Sheppard; his sons, James (Brasha) and Derrick, Sr. (Tasha); his grandchildren, Zekia (KeKe), Zaveri, Derrick Jr. (DJ) and Dejah; his siblings-in-law, Earl Sheppard, Rose Sheppard and Rose Harris; and his cousin James Allen. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kashmere Garden Church of Christ (4315 Leffingwell St, Houston, TX 77026). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Cal Wooten Cemetery.
