It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William H Hayes Jr. of Heidelberg, Mississippi, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Hayes and Beatrice Ulmer; his wife Mattie Waters; his children, Clarence Hayes William H Hayes III and Nina Hayes McGhee; and his siblings, W. C. Hayes, Roy Hayes and Heneretta Cook. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and other family and friends.
