With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Gatlin of Heidelberg, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on June 30, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Satcher and Louise Satcher; and her brothers, Donald Satcher and Richard Satcher. She is survived by: her husband Donald Gatlin; her children, Timothy Gatlin (Tonya) and Sonya Welch (Kerry); her brother George Satcher (Jaymie Woodard); her grandchildren, Kerry Welch Jr. (Sheridan), Kai Welch and Savannah Gatlin; and her sister-in-law Jennifer Satcher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
