She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Fairchild Jr.; her children, Bobby Joe Sanders and Mary Lou Jones of Hazlehurst, MS; her granddaughter Brandy Sanders of Wesson, MS; her children-in-law, Carolyn Sanders of Wesson, Zelle Sanders of Hazlehurst and Darrell Hood of Hazlehurst; her parents, Van J. Smith and Jessie Elma Flynn of Wesson, MS; and her siblings, Harry Smith, Donald Smith of Houma, LA, Willis Smith of Pasadena, CA., Myrtle Lambert of Wesson, Mary McKee of Wesson and Dot King.
She is survived by: her sons, Robin Sanders (Karla) of Hazlehurst, MS and Mickey Ray Sanders of Wesson, MS; her stepdaughter Cindy Bass of Hazlehurst, MS; and her sister Laura Barlow of Wesson, MS. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
