It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Douglas McLendon Sr. (Hazlehurst, Mississippi), who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard and Ann Ruth Coker McLendon, Sr.; his brother David Lee McLendon (Kathy); and his nephew Andy McLendon. He is survived by: his son Steven Douglas McLendon, Jr. (Misty Walker); his siblings, Charles Richard McLendon, Jr. (Tonya) and Patricia Welch; his nieces and nephews, James Elkins, III, Juliet Burns (Bobby), Chuck McLendon, Kyle McLendon, Kelly McLendon, Emily McLendon and Shawn McLendon; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany Craft (John), Lacy Burns, John Alexander Wade, Katelyn Barber (Vic), Kristen Elkins, Adreanna McLendon and Gunner McLendon; and also, Emma Grace Crat and Colton Craft.
