She was predeceased by: her father Allen Roberts; her brothers, Sonny Roberts, Jimmy Roberts and Glen Roberts; her husband Harlton Granger; her daughter Jeanette Granger Rice; and her grandson Chris Hisaw.
She is survived by: her mother Julia Roberts; her children, Tammy Allen (William), Lynette Smith (Cecil), Dana Chandler, Teresa Ferguson (Rusty) and Tex Granger (Amie); and her siblings, Louise Granger, Betty Acy and Danny Roberts. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and many more who liked to call her "Mama" and "Mawmaw", Aunt and friend.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stringer Family Funeral Home - Hazlehurst Po (28023 MS-28, Hazlehurst, MS 39083). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
