He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon "Sim" Ramsey and Eloise Stampley Ramsey; and his brothers, Herbert Ramsey and Sim Ramsey, III. He is survived by: his siblings, Hubert Ramsey (Mary), Tommy Ramsey (Missy) and Eloise Ramsey Beasley (Reeves). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
