She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frank Sutton and Lou Venetia Ross Carpenter; her stepfather Rudy Carpenter; and her sister Martha Hamilton. She is survived by: her husband Stanley Runyan; her daughter Chelsea Mannino; her siblings, Robert Barr, Juanita Ashley, Tommie Jean Coleman, Betty Zehnder and Sandra Dickerson (Paul); and her granddaughters, Amber McMillan and Destiny Carr. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
