We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2023, at the age of 80, Ovalton Rutledge of Hazlehurst, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carleton and Jessie Edna Brinson Rutledge; his siblings, Glen Rutledge, Roland Rutledge, Don Rutledge and Edna Keet Winters; his granddaughter Jana Clair Rutledge; and his daughter-in-law Ginger Mangum Rutledge.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Klager Rutledge; his children, Blossom Page (Louis) of Crystal Springs, Sarah Erwin (Randy) of Crystal Springs and Edward Rutledge of Crystal Springs; his siblings, Irvin Rutledge (Mary) of Crystal Springs, Jeanette McCoy of Crystal Springs, Lovene McCarty of Crystal Springs and Mollie Cirlos of Howell, MI; and his grandchildren, Daniel Erwin, Hannah Page Woodward, Jonathan Page, David Erwin, Bradley Page, Philip Page, Anna Gayle Rutledge Mabry and Luke Rutledge.
