He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Winford McNeely and Peach Appiton Dolin McNeely; his siblings, Malla Wolfe, Bessie Kemplin and Clarence McNeely; and his grandson Aaron Chandler.

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Adell Meadows (Pete), Larry Ludell McNeely (late Betty Jo Hurst) and Frederick "Freddie" Ronald McNeely (Toni Marchese); his grandchildren, Sean Chandler, Brent McNeely, Melissa Sorrels, Jason McNeely, Josiah McNeely and Dorian McNeely; his great grandchildren, Lauren Chandler Plauchette, Ethan Chandler, Mason Chandler, Peyton Chandler, Hudson McNeely, Oliver McNeely, Scarlett McNeely, Conner McNeely, Logan McNeely, Mia McNeely, Lilly McNeely, Alyssa McNeely, Sophia Sorrels, Juliette Berry and Abigaile Berry; and his brother E. Ted McNeely. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
