She is survived by: her husband Dr. Jim Brewer; her daughter Lisa Brewer Scruggs (Mark); her grandsons, Randle Scruggs (Emily) of Nashville, TN and Joshua Scruggs (Rachel) of Athens, TN; and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Laney and Leo Scruggs.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to First Baptist Church, Hazlehurst, MS.
