He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Morris and Martha Wince Morris; his son Jimmy Ray Morris of Hazlehurst; his grandfather Pawpaw; his wife Lucille Morris; his children, Deborah Morris Kendrick (Gervis) and Baron Morris; and his grandchildren, Gervis Kendrick, II, Caleb Kendrick, BJ Goodwin, Kristin Kendrick, Rachel Kendrick, Baroneshia Smith and Sanaa Hill. He was also cherished by eight great-grand children and a host of nieces and nephews.
