With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Wilson McLendon of Hazlehurst, Mississippi, who passed away on March 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his granddaughter Ashley Nicole Hood; his daughter Pamela Ann Dawson; his brothers William, Bill, Richard and Ken McLendon; and his parents, Rosie and William McLendon.

He is survived by : his wife Jerry Bea Stewart Mclendon; his daughters, Kimberly McLendon and Wendy McLendon Boyd; and his grandchildren, Joe Parker (Hillary), Lauren Hood, Kennedy and Dewey McCardle. He is also survived by 5 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson.
