With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Lee Bland (Hazlehurst, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Henry Lee may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Henry Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Elaine Odom Bland; and his daughters, Mellisa Anne Bland and Deborah Lee Bland Delaney. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Ruth Higgs and Rubin Bland; and his grandchildren, Amber Delaney and Nathan Delaney.
