He was predeceased by: his parents, Malvern Hood and Nora Wilson Hood; and his daughter Madaline Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gunter Hood; his son Harold Hood, Jr.; his grandchildren, Trace Hood and Bayleigh Hood; and his sister Charlene Vaughn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pine Bluff Baptist Church (11188 Dentville Rd, Hazlehurst, MS 39083). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
