He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riley McCurley, Jr. and Mildred Stephens McCurley; and his siblings, John McCurley (Speedy) and Billie Sue McCurley Mayes. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Miller (Tommy) of Soso and Robert McCurley of Hazlehurst; his significant other Carolyn Justice; and his significant other's daughter Laura. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stringer Family Funeral Home - Hazlehurst Po (28023 MS-28, Hazlehurst, MS 39083). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
