He is survived by: his son Mark McElveen (Tina); his son-in-law Garol Chinn; his siblings, Doug McElveen, Elaine Stewart (Sonny), Linda Dear (Drew) and Ann Mullins (Joe); and his grandchildren, Jammie Lynn Strong and Paula Jean Robbins.
