She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Forrest and Clinton Forrest; and her husband Alvin McCardle. She is survived by: her siblings, Lanita Anderson, Margaret Forrest and Michael (Diana Forrest); her daughters, Angie Kaiser (Karl) and Trish Rash (Kenny); and her stepson Marcel McCardle (Brenda). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
