He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Troy Templeton and Doris Elaine Templeton; his wife Barbara Ford Templeton; and his sister Peggy Lynn Templeton. He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Templeton Mitchell and Faye Templeton Huff; and his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Layne Hood, Suzanne Hood Lampton, Will, Bob, Troy, Quinn Jordan, R. S. Hood III, Mark, Rusty Mann and Ritchie Roberts. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Pine Bluff Dentville Cemetery at P.O. Box 51, Hazlehurst, Mississippi 39083.
