She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Whitehead. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Tim Whitehead (Tracy) of Hazlehurst, Pam Massa (Forrest) of Hazlehurst and Pat Middleton (Danny Wayne) of Hazlehurst; and her brother Howard Brister (Janet) of Pearl. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 nephews.

Memorials may be made to Batson Children's Hospital.
