It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Lavern Bailey (Hazlehurst, Mississippi), who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma O'Neal and Joe O'Neal; and her brother David O'Neal of Angie, LA. She is survived by: her husband Frank R. Bailey of Lorman; her children, JoAnn Lurk of Port Gibson, James Curtis of Lorman, Jack Curtis (Mary) of Brandon and Gene Davis (Rhonda) of Russum; her stepchildren, Ramsay Bailey (Cindy) of Arkansas and Robin Andrews (Bin) of Port Gibson; and her sister Sue Mixon (Garland) of Sandy Hook. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers family asks that donations be made in her name to Stephens Cemetery c/o Fred Stuart, 4886 Red Lick Road, Lorman, MS 39096.
