She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Toussaint and Vernon Toussaint; and her siblings, Vernon Toussant, Jr. and Sandra Schiavone. She is survived by: her husband James Ray Owen; her children, James Ray Owen, Jr., Kimberly Owen Melancon and Russlyn Owen Lewis; her brother Ronald Toussaint; her nephews, Harry Schiavone Jr., Scott Schiavone, Ronald Toussaint, Jr., Millard Toussaint and Tori Richards; her grandchildren, Trae Bernstein, Taylor Frederic, Brock Melancon, Garrett Lewis, Gavin Lewis and Reid Lewis; her great grandchildren, Kamryn, Wil, Alice, Toler and Kenneth; and also Alan.
