We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2024, at the age of 93, Yolanda Mitchell of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, born in Dearborn, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John William Mitchell; her children, Elizabeth Victoria Kesler (Betty) and John Mitchell Jr.; her parents, Minnie Screws Idiaquez and Joseph Thomas Idiaquez (Jose); her brothers, Douglas Idiaquez, Joe Idiaquez and James Idiaquez; and her great grandchild Minnie Wickham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Mitchell Loggins (Rick), Vonnie Mitchell Gatlin (Pete) and Susan Jeanette Mitchell (Wayne); and her grandchildren, Matthew Clark, Rachel Wolfe (Jim), Laurie McCarty (Cecil), Nissa Stevens (Andy), Jessica Woodruff (Ben), Denise Doerr, Jeffery Kesler (Zhangwen), Stephanie Wickham (Keith), John Kesler (Sarah) and Shannon Beavers (Bryan).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org) in her memory.
