She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. William T. Gower; and her parents, Lewis Powers and Wilhelmina Powers. She is survived by: her children, Bill Gower, Gerry Edwards (Jim), Jamie Gower (Karen) of Hattiesburg, MS, John Gower (Peggy) of Vancleave, MS and Kenny Gower of Brandon, MS; and her grandchildren, Jimmy Edwards (Amber), Noah Gower, Amy Gower and Jonathan Gower. She is also survived by three Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William T. Gower Orchestra Scholarship Endowment at the University of Southern Mississippi or to Homes of Hope for Children.
