With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Perry Martin (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Perry Martin and Carroll Finley Martin; his former wife Milly East Martin of Columbia, MS; his wife Barbara Hooper Martin; his siblings, Carroll Finley Martin, Jr., Claire Martin May and Marion Martin Craig; and his son Brooks Bradley Martin (Gretchen).
He is survived by: his children, William Perry Martin, Jr. (LeAnne) of Atlanta and Molly Martin Blass (Bobby) of Hattiesburg; and his stepchildren, Betty Conerly (Jim), Stacy Fressell (Matt), Hughby Godbold and Georgia Godbold McGee. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
