He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Finley Doherty and Eloise Doherty; his wife Harriette Doherty; and his sister Mary Ann Scanlon. He is survived by: his children, Denese Clinton (Kenny) of Hattiesburg, Rebel Doherty of Memphis, TN, Kellie Bell (Darryl) of Purvis and Scott Doherty of Oak Grove; and his grandchildren, Shawn Clinton (Alé), Alisha Clinton (Chris), Brandon Bell (Lauren), Chandler Bell (Lela), Zane Doherty and Amanda Doherty. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
