He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Norris; his parents, Dewey Norris and Lavella Norris; his granddaughter Mari Langford; and his siblings, Lanell Norris and Bobby Norris.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda Kirby (Bill) of Burlington, VT, Donna Langford (Greg) of Hattiesburg, Bill D. Norris, Jr. (Pam) of Poplarville and Doug Norris (Angie) of Alabaster, AL; his siblings, Jimmy Norris (Irma) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Mike Norris of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Larry Norris of Rawls Springs, Jerry Norris of Hattiesburg and Peggy Norris of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Walker (Scott), Will Norris (Shannon), Daniel Norris (Ashley), Lisa Davis (Carley), Ben Langford (Kelly), Andy Langford (Cindy), Rachel Eubanks (Brandon), Dr. Holly Dixon (Rob), Hannah Hudson Donnelly (Dave), Seth Norris and Emily Green (Austin). He is also survived by twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
