She is survived by: her husband Tommy Armstrong Sr.; her siblings, Loretta Sumlin, Magdella Nix, Sharon Griffin, Rheeda Fae Roberts, Earnest Sumlin Jr. and David Sumlin; her siblings-in-law, Prince Jesse Hooks, Luther Earl Roberts, Jimmy Lee and Dorothy Lee Carter; her children, Laurinda Person (Melvin Person II), Tommy Armstrong Jr. of Hattiesburg, MS. and Tarrance Markel Armstrong of Hattiesburg, MS.; her sisters, Lau Fae Cherry of Lucedale, MS and Maureen Moody (Curtis) of McLain, MS.; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Jean Sumlin of McClain, MS and Sherry Sumlin of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
