She was predeceased by: her husband B. P. Chain; her parents, B. F. Steinwinder and Sarah Godwin; and her brothers, John David Steinwinder and James William Steinwinder.
She is survived by: her children, Gary B. Chain (Pam Kelley) of Hattiesburg, Renee Hutto (Tommy) of Hattiesburg and Locie Gicalone (Frank) of Jacksonville, FL; and her grandchildren, Loren Elliott (Jeff) of Hattiesburg, Kelley McKenzie (Bryan) of Mooresville, NC, Patrick Hutto of Hattiesburg, Zach Chain of Little Rock, AR, Hannah Chain of Hattiesburg, Patty Terry of Jacksonville, FL and Todd Gicalone (Angelica) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
