It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Pierce (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), born in West Point, Georgia, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Wayne Scroggs and Ophelia Judd Scroggs; and her brother-in-law Robert Lasater of Murfreesboro. She is survived by: her husband Joe Mac Pierce of Moselle, Mississippi; her siblings, Marrie Scroggs Lasater of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Wayne Scroggs (Terry) of West Point, Georgia; and her stepdaughters, Charlette Prince and Kristal Davis of Moselle. She is also survived by five nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Main Street Methodist Church, Hattiesburg; Asbury Hospice House, Hattiesburg; or a charity of your choice.
