He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Martin and Bertha Martin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hollingsworth Martin of Hattiesburg, MS; his son Arthur Treless Martin (Sonya) of Sumrall, MS; and his sister Sandra Mashborn of Petal, MS. He is also survived by one grandson and surviving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
