Thomas D. Hoppey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas D. Hoppey in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, born in Port Jervis, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hoppey and Irene Hoppey; his wife Carol Hoppey; his sister Jean (Dick Van Sickle); his in-laws, Ruth and Bob Byrne; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Decker and Patrick Byrne.
He is survived by: his children, David Hoppey (Diane), Trish Hoppey, Elizabeth Myatt (Glen) and Michael Hoppey (Leigh); his grandchildren, Caran Mullins (Ronnie), Billy Silva (Lindsey), Kevin Hoppey, Dave Myatt, Owen Myatt, Jami Nelson (Daniel), Megan Fredricks, Samantha Fredricks and Nick Hoppey; his great grandchildren, Noah, Lyla Mullins, Lydia Nelson and Zayleigh Gee; and his siblings-in-law, Cis Sherwood, Beverly Byrne, Charlene Decker and Joe Byrne (Barbara). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
