It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Smith (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Elbert M. Cooper; her son Johnnie Tyrez Cooper; and her grandson Tradarius Cooper. She is survived by: her mother Eunice V. Bouie (William) of Hattiesburg, MS; her husband Gerry Smith of Hattiesburg, MS; her children, Crystal Cooper, Patience Cooper of Hattiesburg, MS and Quamane Cooper of Hattiesburg, MS.; her siblings, Johnathan Barrett, Dimetrius Bouie (Patricia) of Hattiesburg, MS, William Bouie (Danette) of Victorville, CA and Latasha Lewis of Dallas, Texas.; her grandchildren, Quatarius Cooper, Qua, Samyra Dixon and Kiyan Cooper; her mother-in-law Carolyn Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Tamika Smith, Tambra Shaw and Geraldo Smith. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
