She is survived by: her son Alfred Larry Aswell; her grandchildren, Walter Roy Aswell III and Sara Kate Aswell; her sister Jane McNeel Smith; and her brother-in-law Wayne Aswell (Kathy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
