She is survived by: her children, Clint McPhail of Ft. Worth, TX, Lori Conner (Corey) of Hattiesburg and Noel McPhail of Hattiesburg; her stepchildren, Larry McPhail (Tina) and Susan Gregg (Brian) of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, Jackson McPhail of Ft. Worth, TX, Avery McPhail of Ft. Worth, TX, Lilly Conner of Hattiesburg, Charley Rose Conner of Hattiesburg and Amelia Jones of Hattiesburg; and her stepgrandchildren, Lexy Hall, Hannah Kirkland, Chaz McPhail, Drake McPhail and Gabe Shepard.

Due to the health guidelines regarding Covid-19 Virus, a celebration of Sonya's life will be held at a later date.
