She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jimmy" Edward King; her children, Maryanne and Byron King; and her parents, James Pippen and Mattie Pippen.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Dr. Tommy and Sandy King of Columbia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Dan Sumrall Scholarship Fund at William Carey University.
