He is survived by: his children, Dr. David Hong (Linda) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Frances York (Jason) of Knoxville, TN; his sisters, Carolyn (Tony) and Shirley (Richard); his sister-in-law Helen; and his brothers, J. D. (Loanna) and Chuck (Glenda).
