She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Woodard and Harvey Woodard; her brother Jimmy Lee; her friend Nell Galley; and her pet Zoey.

She is survived by: her daughter Tracy Simmons of Hattiesburg, MS; her grandchildren, Tyler Berry, Allie Berry and Lexxie Simmons; her great grandchildren, Aubriella Willis, Brooklyn Willis, Eli Mooney and Tucker Simmons; and her close friend Bobby Walters.
