He was predeceased by: his parents, George Scott and Alice Morticia Anderson (McLendon); his daughter Teresa Lynn Anderson; and his siblings, E. J. Anderson, Shirley Williams, Prentiss Anderson, Everett Anderson, Jimmy Anderson, Herbert Lee Anderson, George Anderson, Orhee Sullivan, Myrtle Haynes and Van Arthur Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Anderson of Hattiesburg; his daughters, Bobbie Jean Fortenberry of Wisconsin, Brooke Abney of Purvis, Kimberly Michelle Anderson of Richton, Jerri Ann Martin Spiers (Donnie) of New Augusta and Becky Martin of Hattiesburg; his stepdaughter Denise Francis (Phillip) of North Carolina; and his siblings, Alice Moreau of Florida and David Anderson of Florida. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
