It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Tanner of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, born in El Reno, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorothy Butler and Roy Butler; her children, Tom Tanner of Hattiesburg, MS, Janice Tanner Ainsworth (Randy) of Magee, MS and Royce Tanner Amacker (Doug) of Madison, MS; and her granddaughters, Sarah Elizabeth Tanner of Chicago, IL and Rachel Ainsworth Murphy (Brendan) of Bozeman, MT.
