She was predeceased by: her husband Leo "Junior" Holden; her parents, Alvin Broom and Lettie Mae Broom; and her sister Voncille "Bon" Ford of Ocean Springs. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Danielle of Hattiesburg, Warren of Hattiesburg, Joel of Hattiesburg and Lindsey Smith of Hattiesburg; her sister Georgia; her son Reggie Smith (Yvonne) of Hattiesburg; her stepdaughter Laureen Holden Powell (Michael D.) of Vancleave; and her sisters, Vernice Holden of Ocean Springs and Dot Miller of Oxford.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home (205 Bay St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Main Street Baptist Church Building Fund in her memory.
