He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Cuellar; his daughter Patricia Cuellar Toben; his granddaughters, Colleen and Emily Morgan; and his parents, Andres Cuellar and Emilia Cuellar.

He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Odom (Hal) of Petal, MS, Imelda Coleman (Bill) of Hattiesburg, MS, Martha Pierce (Werner) of Petal, MS, Norma Cuellar of Tuscaloosa and Cissy Robertson (Mike) of Petal, MS; his brother Omar Cuellar (Reiko) of Laredo, TX; and his grandchildren, Reyna, Sara, Wesley, Nick, Kathleen, Angie, Berry, Will, Michael, Chas, Andy, Matthew and Tre. He is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
